What data we collect
We collect the following personal data when you use our website or contact us:
- Identity & contact data — first name, last name, email address, phone number, and property address where you provide it.
- Property data — postcode, property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, whether the property is occupied or furnished, and the condition you describe.
- Job data — the service you want, how often, any extras selected, access arrangements, your preferred date and time slot, and anything you tell us in the free-text notes.
- Communication data — messages you send us via forms, email, or phone, and the quote we send back.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited (via cookies and server logs).
Why we use it
We use your data for the following purposes:
- To prepare and send you a quote for the cleaning work you have asked about (our legitimate interest in responding to your request). If you tick the agreement on the form we also record your consent to use your details to reply.
- To deliver the cleaning services you've booked and to communicate with you about bookings, schedules, and follow-ups (contract performance).
- To send marketing communications you've explicitly opted into (consent — you can withdraw at any time).
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To keep our website secure and prevent abuse of our quote form (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the team who are assigned to your job (so they can deliver the service), with our payment processor where you pay us, with our email provider where you ask us to contact you, and where required by law. Everyone processing data on our behalf is bound by UK GDPR-compliant terms.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests that don't become bookings for up to 12 months, so we can answer follow-up questions and honour a quote we have given. Booking and customer records are kept for up to 6 years after your last booking (for tax and legal reasons). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see “Your rights” below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to processing or withdraw consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
To exercise these rights, write to us at the registered office address above.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies: essential cookies for the site to work, and analytics cookies (only with your consent) to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies via your browser settings.
